The whisky bottle caps are divided in different types by its inner construction 

 1.) spout-out bottle caps: one hand holds the bottle neck/body, one hand twists (screws) the cap's body, the plastic insert inside will push out and break the outer shell of the cap's top (open from the cap's top). These bottle caps are normally made of plastic only, or alternatively made of plastic & aluminum (inner shell-plastic & outer shell-aluminum), which are widely used for packing bottles of vodka, whisky, brandy, XO, etc.

 2.)  screw-off bottle caps: one hand holds the cap's body, one hand twists (srews) the cap's top, the cap will break /open from the middle. These bottle caps can be made of aluminum only, which are normally used for packing red wine, rum, phamaceuticals, etc; or made of plastic only, which are used for beverage, cosmetics, oil, vinegar, etc; and some screw-off bottle caps are made of plastic & aluminum, which are for spirit(vodka, XO, etc) package.

 3.)  tear-off bottle caps: there is a 0.3 mm width stripe circles the cap's body, tear off this stripe, the cap's top is seperate from the cap's body, then screw off the cap's top and the cap is opened. These are normally aluminum & plastic bottle caps. The tear-off stripe is made of aluminum in outer shell.
