The Tamper-Evident system is commonly employed in standard safety closures. The closure features perforations at regular intervals along its circumference, which create a sequence of 'bridges.'

The bridges break when the closure is unscrewed for the first time, resulting in a small plastic ring that remains around the neck of the bottle. The customer can feel and hear this process.
